1. Be kind and constructive
Give feedback on the work, not the person. Disagree with respect.
No harassment, bullying, threats or insults, and no hate against people because of who they are, such as their origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
2. Keep people safe
No content that encourages violence, terrorism, self-harm or dangerous acts.
No sexual content and no graphic violence. Content that sexually exploits children is never allowed: we remove it and report it to the authorities.
If someone may be in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services first.
3. Be honest
No spam, scams, phishing or malware, and no apps or links that trick people.
No fake accounts, no pretending to be someone else, and no buying or trading likes, followers or friends.
4. Respect rights and privacy
Only share what you have the right to share. Do not copy other people's apps, images, code or brands without permission.
Do not share other people's personal information, such as addresses, phone numbers or private messages, without their consent.
Follow the law where you live and in the EU.
5. Reporting and blocking
Use Report on any post, comment, project, profile or message. Choose what is wrong and tell us why. The person you report is not told who reported them.
To report content you believe is illegal, choose Illegal content, say which law it breaks and why, and confirm that your report is accurate. You can also email kevin@baseheart.ai with a link to the content.
We confirm that we received your report and tell you what we decided.
You can block a person at any time. You stop seeing each other's posts, comments and profile, and you cannot message each other.
6. How we decide
People at BaseHeart review reports. We do not remove content or suspend members by automated means alone.
Depending on what happened, we may hide content, remove a project from Community, warn a member, or suspend a member from Community for a period or for good.
When we restrict your content or account, we tell you which content, which guideline or law, the facts we relied on and how to appeal.
7. Appeals
You can appeal a decision about your content, your account or your report in BaseHeart within six months. It is free.
A person reviews your appeal; it is never decided by automated means alone. If the decision was wrong, we reverse it and restore what we removed.
In the EU you can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the Digital Services Act, or go to court.
8. Repeated misuse
After a warning, we suspend for a period members who repeatedly share content that is clearly illegal or seriously breaks these guidelines.
After a warning, we may set aside for a period the reports of someone who repeatedly sends reports that are clearly unfounded.
9. New members
To keep spam out, new members can post, comment, mention and follow people a little less during their first days. The limits lift by themselves.
10. Contact
kevin@baseheart.ai is our point of contact for members and authorities, in English and Danish.
